Dividing Spaces is a contemplation of the ways in which we inhabit and divide spaces – often along lines of geography, culture, family, states of mind, and personhood. It is a collection of fragmented thoughts narrated my mother, father, uncle and myself. All of us have some feeling of displacement from our hometown, nationhood and established citizenship. Set somewhere in between Vietnam and the United States, Dividing Spaces is a search to unite fragments of self, which finds a wholeness in the solidarity of other speakers.
