Light of Flowers (2023)
This is an installation that plays with light space modulation. The shadows created on the walls from the light refractions happening through the glass allows for a phantasmagoric effect that calls upon the Victorian use of magic lantern. The grime, dirt and dust of the glass is also illuminated to highlight the biological matter that surrounds us. The glass itself makes it to the fragile components of the work are present throughout the experience of it, hanging on the edge of cement blocks or upturned buckets.
